Services & Amenities

We are adjacent to the National Park. The Park has hiking trails, interperative programs, beautiful beaches and a walking trail all along the parkway. There are kitchen shelters at several different spots for lunches and snacks.

Stanhope Golf and Country Club has an 18 hole golf course - 2 km from the cottages. This course also has a putting green and driving range. It also has an informal eating area and pro shop.

Directly across the lane from us is an art studio where Heather Hannon paints beautiful original watercolors that you can't miss seeing. I have included an original watercolor photo of our cottage which she painted last year.

Covehead Wharf - this is 2 km from our cottages. It is a busy spot where the #1 industry is lobster fishing . The season starts in early May and goes to the end of June. Here you can book a deep sea fishing excursion - generally speaking - there are 3 every day - weather dependant.

Richard's is located at the wharf - they have an informal reataurant here where you can eat eat in or eat out. You can also take it home if you like. They operate a fresh seafood business here as well where you can always get fresh lobster and other seafood as well. You really do need to try the mussels ...
