The National Park is adjacent to the cottages. The Park has hiking trails, interpretative programs, beautiful beaches and a walking trail all along the parkway. There are kitchen shelters at several different spots for lunches and snacks.

GOLFING

Stanhope Golf and Country Club

18 hole golf course - 2 km from the cottages. This course also has a putting green and driving range. It also has an informal eating area and pro shop.

FISHING

Covehead Wharf - this is 2 km from our cottages. It is a busy spot where the #1 industry is lobster fishing. The season starts in early May and goes to the end of June. Here you can book a deep sea fishing excursion.

A fresh seafood business is located on the wharf  where you can always get fresh lobster and other seafood. You really do need to try the mussels ...

Known for their amazing Fish 'n Chips and Lobster Rolls ! Worth the wait. Casual dining - eat in or take out

Dalvay By The Sea is a lovely spot to dine. The dining room looks over beautiful grounds and has a lovely view of the lake. Their "sticky date pudding" is espically great!! Reservations recommended

 

 

 

 

The Dunes, Brackley Beach. We have never had a bad meal here - excellent cuisine. They have a garden on their premises and use their own freshly grown herbs and spices with their menu. The Dunes also has a fantastic gift shop of pottery and beautiful paintings from PEI artists! Well worth a visit. Reservations recommended

 

 

 Shaw's is a family run business in Brackley Beach . They have a lovely dining room and are known for their great Sunday buffets.
